Pantheist unveil full details of new album ‘Uncanny Times’ and premiere “The Final Journey”
Atmospheric doom masters Pantheist have revealed the full details of their highly anticipated new album, ‘Uncanny Times’, set for release on October 30, 2026 via Argonauta Records. The album will be available as a deluxe double vinyl, CD and digital release, marking the band’s next major statement in their ongoing exploration of darkness, transcendence and the human condition. According to Pantheist: “The Final Journey is the track which set the tone of the whole album in motion. I wrote the music 15 years ago and then shelved it straight away in the hope I would find a vocalist who is worthy of singing it at some point in the future. My prayers were heard with Linda joining the band about a decade and a half later (you need to be very patient when you play doom metal). Once the lyric was written after a deep philosophical conversation with my friend Ricardo in Panama, the first and most decisive step towards ‘Uncanny Times’ was made with this huge, epic album opener.” Built around a composition that had been waiting for its moment for fifteen years, “The Final Journey” became the catalyst for the album that followed.
