"Bring Me The Head" was recorded at Sunnanå Studios in Malmö by Markus Nilsson, boasting striking artwork by BARTOSZ NALEZINSKI.
"Bring Me The Head" is a dark and brooding song about obsession and possession. Both musically and lyrically, it takes inspiration from the biblical figure Salome, who desires John the Baptist but is rejected. As a means of revenge, but also as a way of owning his holiness, she demands his head on a plate. The music matches those conflicting feelings of hate and desire, cruising between quick frenzied guitars and furious drumming, then changing moods into heavy half tempo headbangs and finally introducing a more sinister streak with dissonant guitar solos, pounding drums and the vocals exorcising almost black mass intonations.

Formed in Malmö, Dead Sleep have always done things their own way - blending punk energy, old-school thrash, and a refusal to fully belong to any one scene. Loud, raw, and unapologetic, they continue to build their identity on instinct rather than rules.
