Chicago's CARDIAC ARREST to tour Europe next month

Next month, Chicago death metal institution Cardiac Arrest will tour Europe. Encompassing nine dates and presented by Killtown Bookings, the trek will be the band's first European tour in over eight years; joining them will be fellow Hells Headbangers labelmates Cadaveric Incubator. Confirmed dates and venues as well as poster art are as follows:

In other Cardiac Arrest news, on April 24th internationally, Hells Headbangers will be reissuing the band's cult-classic fourth album, Vortex of Violence, on CD and vinyl LP formats.

Originally released in 2012 on John McEntee’s late / great Ibex Moon Records, Vortex of Violence was the sound of Cardiac Arrest arguably at their most ripping. Granted, catchiness has always been a hallmark of the band – and to be sure, there’s plenty of memorability across Vortex of Violence – but the manner in which they gallop / blast / repeat, all while retaining a live-in-the-studio urgency, is taken up a couple notches here. Think classic Repulsion, Terrorizer, and even ‘80s Napalm Death drenched in the horror-laden filth of Autopsy, and you’ll have a good idea of what you’re up against: all guts, all glory!
