TAEDIFER’s Indivinus is Fucking heavy. Right from the first riff, it’s like someone poured a merciless wall of sound into your stereo and left it there. No bullshit, no hype. Just death metal. Thick, grimy, unapologetic.
It smells of HM-2 fuzz, that Swedish chainsaw shit, but it’s not a museum piece (partially). The guitars aren’t polite at all. They barge in, they scrape your ears raw, then settle into these groaning, crawling riffs that drag along like chains. And the slow bits... They crush. Not “doom-light” or trendy doom, but heavy. Dead weight. You feel it in your chest.
Vocals... No theatrics. No fake horror voice. The guy’s been screaming for decades. You can tell. Bass is thick, sometimes too loud, sometimes sneaky, hiding under the riff, just waiting to smack you. Hellish drums are solid, too. No fancy fills, just bones and force, death metal the way it should be!
It doesn’t try to reinvent death metal shit. It doesn’t want clicks or recognition. It’s local, stubborn, grimy Czech death metal at its core. It’s rough around the edges, muddy in the best way, honest. This is a record made by people who know exactly what it’s supposed to feel like pure, raw metal of death.
Not perfect, but who gives a shit? It hits. It remains in memory. You will smell it later. Solid 4 out of 5.
