Firstly, can you tell us about the formation of the band? When and how was it formed? Do you believe the band name 'HORSE OF TROJA' perfectly describes your music and philosophy?

And We are The 3 original members, then we have
Bass/Vocal - Johnnie Forselius
Guitar/Vocal Christoffer Nilsson
Sweden Rock Magazine reviewed us and wrote that they could hear Rainbow, Phenomena, Deep Purple, We all grew up with Led Zeppelin, Judas Priest, Whitesnake, Deep Purple and so on. So our input is from the old Bands.
The Name Horse Of Troja came out one day after a rehearsal when we played with words. The story tells about a wooden Horse and you say Trojan Horse and we just change the words around as we say it in Sweden (Den Troja ska Hästen) Horse Of Troja.
And We work Hard, This year I think we had around 20 Gigs around Sweden, one was a support act to Dream Evil.
So We Hope it will Payback one day and people find us and like us.
Now, can you tell us about Harder & Heavier and the lyrical themes behind each track? What are the ideas you wanted to convey?
Leaving – This is one of the band´s favourite songs. The lyrics is about letting go and leave your safe world behind, which all of us restless souls probably can relate to. It is like when you reach a point where you simply have to make a change – and you go for it! The composition consists of a couple of different sections that actually fit together really nice: The main riff that runs as intro and also serves as foundation for the chorus part is quite aggressive, with a not so common 6/4-time signature, the verse section modulates to a major key, and in the pre-chorus the rhythm drops to half-time, building up again towards the main riff.
Harder & Heavier – A groovy, in your face main riff kicks of this old-school rock thing about an unstoppable force that you better just roll along with because there is nothing you can do anyway.
Instant Drug – This is a straightforward rock song and great to perform live. The main riff is a bit bluesy and open for variations. The lyrics are about that special girl that takes your breath away, and that you just can’t get enough of.
No Mercy – Music and lyrics move together in picturing the dark and destructive side of getting addicted, may it be to drugs, alcohol or even to a person.
Do you have any plans to release official band merchandise?
Right now we only have one model of T-shirt for Sale at our Concerts. We printed it in 80 copies so it will be a little special as we won't be reprinting it. Right now there are 4 or 5 copies in the US, England and some other countries. So those who have them know that they are one of 80 in the whole world who have it. So for us it is a bit special. We are waiting for the record company to send us CD and Vinyl but so far we have not received any for sale. But we would like more band stuff but it's all about money. And right now, the coffers are not so well filled, so we can afford to print more T-shirts.
What are HORSE OF TROJA's musical and non-musical influences?
We all grew up with Led Zeppelin, Budgie, Thin Lizzy, Rainbow, Deep Purple, BTO, Whitesnake, and Rainbow.
And Non - Musical Influences
That's Hard because every Style has its Charm. But Growl bands are not favorite But most of the band have Heavy cool riffs But the Vocals are Hard to Hear what They singing about.
Could you please share your personal views on religion and god?
There is something out there, We all have our belief in something better and what it is is up to each of us. There is no right or wrong. As long as you believe in Something.
Can we expect to see some gigs across the USA or Europe in the near future?
That would be a dream come true, but We need help with that so it's up to our Record Company Sliptrick Records. So cross your fingers. Who knows what 2025 will bring.
Lastly, when can fans expect something new from you? A music video, single, or documentary perhaps?
Sliptrick Records are working on a Video for the song No Mercy, but when we don't know.
And yes, We are working on 4-5 New songs.
But for now, you have to listen to our Ep.
If we get a Tour in US, Why Not make a documentary about that.
We have never played there so That would be really cool to do.
