Czech is not only known for beer and grindcore, of course there are other interesting things, like ROOT and much more. Indrid Cold is Chech band, I do not know when they formed but Monument Prázdnoty is their debut album released in 2021 by Sliptrick records.
Seven tracks of post-doom metal played with quite slow rhythms. While those 'post' elements reaching the whole album structure there are also some classic doom metal tunes made by guitars (I like those moments btw). The whole album is well built, with interesting guitar parts, measured drumming and rough vocals.
All in all expect interesting music if you are following post-doom music. Songs are pretty good composed and comes with reach ideas, rhythm-section has both slow and faster tempos, doomy guitars and melancholic atmosphere. Indrid Cold definitely were influenced by bands like Katatonia and Opeth. My favorite track - Útes.
Nothing new or outstanding but well played and very listenable.
